It wasn't easy for me to shell out around twenty dollars (including shipping) for a ladle, but I'm glad I did for this one. This is a professional quality all-metal ladle meant for precise pouring of batters, sauces and other liquids. Its three-ounce capacity is perfect for my five-inch diameter pancakes, and it is also a great help in pouring the smaller blinis onto the griddle or skillet. It is a good tool for laying down a precise stripe of sauce over that entree or dessert. You'll reach for it often!
